Multi-day Activity (Creative Writing):
Write a CHILDREN’S BOOK aimed at children grades K-2 incorporating information from handouts, foldables, etc. on early humans.  Your story may be written in poetry or prose form OR may take the form of a comic book.  Each page of the book must have illustrations reflecting the material.
  Steps:
  1. Planning (use 4-square chart to organize information)
  2. Drafting (write the actual story)
  3. Editing/Revising (make sure the story is publishable)
  4. Publish (neatly write and illustrate the story on clean copy and/or colored paper)
